Wedding Emergency Kit

What is a “wedding emergency kit” and just WHY might one be important?

Basically, it is obvious: the “Wedding Emergency Kit” is a bunch of emergency items that can be extra helpful if anything goes wrong or not as expected on your wedding day.

When you book a package with us, please be aware that our wedding assistant will come to you prepared—from the moment of meeting until after your photo sessions are over—with a kit in hand to make sure any little emergency that might arise will be taken care of.

Here’s a list of the most common items that were in demand for “emergencies” at the weddings where I’ve been in attendance:

🔘Mirror
🔘Face/Hand Tissues
🔘Oil-absorbing sheets/matting tissues (given summers in NYC, this is no joke)
🔘Blister Treatment/Adhesive Bandages (those fancy high heels can ruin a bride’s feet—and mood—even before she gets to the ceremony spot)
🔘Q-tips (to wipe off lipstick from teeth or mascara after shedding a tear during the ceremony)
🔘Lip balm
🔘Eye Drops (because contact lenses can get dry in the most inappropriate moments)
🔘Emery Board
🔘Sewing Kit
🔘Lotion
🔘Sunscreen
🔘Tide to Go Pen
🔘Tide to Go Stain Eraser
🔘Tampons
🔘Krazy Glue
🔘Dental Flossers
🔘White Chalk
🔘Straws
🔘First Aid Kit
🔘Mints
🔘Benadryl
🔘Bobby Pins
🔘Granola Bars
🔘Mouth Wash
🔘Clear Nail Polish
🔘Chapstick
🔘Advil (or another pain reliever)
🔘Fabric Tape
🔘Wet Hand Wipes
🔘Earring Backs
🔘Tweezers
🔘Safety Pins
🔘Nail Clippers
🔘Hair Spray
🔘Black Socks
🔘Fake Wedding Ring—just in case the best man forgets! ;)

What would be your top “wedding emergency kit” items if you were planning an event? For me, my top picks would be: mirror, oil-absorbing face tissues, and adhesive bandages.
